Obituary of Ruth Ellen (Wright) Stuck

Bedford – Ruth Ellen (Wright) Stuck, 94, of Bedford, formerly of Florida, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Johnson’s Christian Village.

Born February 26, 1925 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Elza L. and Mattie (Stewart) Maners. She married Dewey Vernon Wright and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1989. She later married Howard Reed and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2000. She then married Lorin Stuck and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2012. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, David L. Wright and wife, Sue, of Bedford; grandchildren, Donald Wright and wife, Rona, Greg Wright and wife, Kim, and Chris Wright and wife, Judi; great grandchildren, Danielle Hitchcock and husband, Riley, D.J. Wright, and wife, Caycee, Casey Amos and husband, Brad, and Tyler Collins, and fiancé, Kristen Wampler,  Adrien Eads and husband, Zach, Hannah Wright, Harrison Wright, Daphne Wright, Romy Wright, Theo Wright, Phoebe Wright, and Margot Wright; seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a son, Donald Wayne Wright, and a great grandson, Cameron Wright.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 8^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Mark Hafenbreidel officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, March 8^th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
