Obituary of Lesa Hayes

Bedford – Lesa Hayes, 54, of Bedford, died Thursday, January 24, 2019 at her residence.

Born May 27, 1964, she was the daughter of Dale and Norma (Jones) Doty. She was a server at Bob Evans. Lesa was a devoted, loving Mother and Nana. Her smile lit up the lives of all those who knew her. She was the epitome of strength. Her family meant everything to her.

Survivors include her ex-husband of thirty-two years, Chris Hayes; her daughters, Kristen Hayes, and Courtney Stout and husband, Tyler, all of Bedford; a grandson, Jackson Hayes; her mother, Norma Doty, of Bedford; a brother, Brian Doty and husband, Cubb Doty, of Lexington, KY; a sister, Beth Johnson and husband, Wes Johnson, of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Doty.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 29^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Wayne Caswell and Bro. Mark Fields officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the hour of service on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
