Beautiful Lady inside and out! She always made me feel welcome in her home and I have so many childhood memories of her offering a meal or would just sit down and chat about how the world was treating me that day. Always so sweet to me and treated my sister like one of her own! We will all miss you so much, Rest In Peace and tell Jessie hi for me!

I miss Granny so much, I miss her trying to feed me ham when I told her I was vegetarian! I miss her saying, "Now you come over anytime and visit." I miss her candy drawer and the summer days playing barefoot outside her house. I miss staying with her and watching old VHS tapes. I miss her cooking me hard eggs for breakfast. A lot of my memories of Granny correlate with food! I miss her stories and I miss giving her a hug.

I have many fond memories of her like the pie crust with cinnamon she would make us kids. The gallons of ice cream she would open and put on the picnic table then hand us all a spoon. The time I was mad at my mom and ran away to live with her. Her laugh and her beautiful smiling eyes. So glad she was a part of my childhood.

My memories of our Granny are all wonderful, happy ones. This lovely lady took me in as one of her own over 40 years ago. I will never forget the happy times we had. She was the most happy when all of the family was together and being fed the best home cooking on earth. I will miss her dressing and persimmon pudding at the holidays, no one made it like her. She loved her kids, grandkids and each of her daughter in laws. Rest in peace Granny, know that your family loved you very much.
