Dear Gene, Justin and Jean We do not get the newspaper and only learned of Joyce's death on the car radio today on the way to Methodist Hospital for an appt. I really have great memories of Joyce as my secretary and some comical ones too (like when she got mad at Mr. Jennings and threw away the proof for the Martin County Fair catalog). Her example in teaching three 7 year-old children independence was my inspiration in raising two sons and hundreds of 4-Hers over the years. She was a very special lady. She influenced a lot of people for good.

Dear Gene, We were so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. You were blessed to share your life with such a beautiful, gracious lady. She had such a way of making people feel comfortable. When we moved to Indiana and started attending FBC, she was always smiling and welcoming and made us feel like family! You're in our thoughts and prayers, Dave and Carol Mikulsky

Gene, I am so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. I met her when she had me to come and decorate your new home. She was so excited to get wvwreything ready to have an open house at Christmas time that year. We became fast friends, and had a good time decorating. Her comment was...show Gene where to hang them, and let him do it!!!!! The funniest part was when I decorated the tops of the cabinets. She said..."I don't think Gene will do very good up there"....So i climbed on the cabinets and she stood back and supervised....We dug in every box nearly in the garage looking for treasures to put up there. It was such fun!!!! My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Rita Anderson
