I am so sorry for the family's loss of such a great man. I knew Bob thru Hillcrest Christain Church and will never forget his kindness to me and my husband Jim when Jim became ill. Bob stepped up and for six weeks handled all our finances while Jim and I made daily trips to Indy for Jim's medical treatment. Bob will certainly be missed.

Roger and family, so sad and shocked to hear of the loss of Bob. I used to love to hear him laugh...sounded so much like your dad. Having just gone through a similar tragedy in my family, I hope you are able to lean on the strength of family and good friends during the dark and hard times ahead. I was so sad to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful Christian man. I worked with him at Monroe County Bank for a few years. I loved his laugh and he was always there if you needed him. I remember him saying " You've got to be kidding me". It is like I can still hear him saying that. Heaven gained another angel. God Bless his family

He would always tell me to get out front and control the traffic so he could find a place

I will miss Bob so much, he had a lot to give in our Sunday School Class and I am glad to have been part of his church family. He was so easy to talk to and always had concern for others. I am fortunate to have had the privilege to call him friend. Rest in peace Bob, I know you are at the right hand of God today. Prayers for peace to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob a long time ago at Fountain Federal and then again, for several years, at Monroe Bank. He was always a very kind man and we shared many laughs and had meaningful conversations. I always loved how his shoulders would shake when he laughed. You knew it was sincere!. He was a mentor and friend and will truly be missed.

Roger, Ronda and families,
I never knew a world without Bob as he was older and we attended the same school and church. He was that person you never heard a bad word against. He often peppered his Sunday School lessons with memories of growing up on North Pike, attending a small school such as Needmore and the lifelong friends he made playing basketball -either by playing or helping teach fundamentals to the Biddy Basketball players. He loved his family so much and often was brought to tears at some recollection of his grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles.
He loved Southern Gospel Music and one of his favorites had this phrase, "Life has many choices, Eternity has but two."
We know where Bob is spending eternity,

Roger and Kathy, This world just lost a wonderful human being. However, the only thing in this life that matters is being ready to meet Jesus and I am sure that Bob is now one of the heavenly saints. Words alone cannot erase the loss that you are feeling, but to know that Bob did not suffer - did not have to spend his last years in a nursing home and that he is now in the arms of Jesus will give you solace, strength and peace of mind.
May God comfort you and the rest of the family. I am thankful that I had the pleasure of know this wonderful man and to sing with him in one of Hillcrest's praise teams.

I am sad to learn of the passing of Bob. I knew Bob through my cousin, Mike Franklin, as they were good friends. I also had the privilege of having Bob as a student teacher while in high school.
