My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see her again. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his Word the Bible along with the site jw.org that has a wealth of information about God's future promises for those asleep in death and for all who are living. May all the many wonderful memories that Sonia your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.

Sonie and I were the same age, and along with our cousin Sue were in the same class until I moved when I was 8 y.o. I saw Sonie for the first time in many, many years when she came to the visitation of my sister Jean Cobb last spring. I am sorry to hear of her passiing. God Bless all you.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of mammaw young. She was the kindest,sweetest,toughest lady I have ever met. I'm very thankful I got to have her in my life for the years that I did. Sonia was a good friend of my Aunt Ruby (Hillenburg) Vaught, and I remember when she looked just like this lovely photo of her. I was so sorry to hear of her passing, as I know other family members too. So sorry for you loss, wish I had known her better. I think I remember her being a skater.
