Obituary of MaryAnn Baker

Bedford MaryAnn Baker, 75, of Bedford, died at 4:43 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born January 12, 1936 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Russell and Alberta (Stevens) Child. She married Bill Baker on August 23, 1952 and he survives. She retired from the City of Bedford Water Department and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Gillen Post #33 American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Bill of Bedford; a daughter, Pam Kruse and husband, Doran of Bedford; a son, Scott Baker and wife, Dina of Bedford; three grandsons, Devin and Dustin Kruse, Gavin Baker; two nieces, Kim Child-Thomas and Debbie Norman; one nephew, Brad Child and a sister-in-law, Patsy Child of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Child. Funeral Information Private funeral services are scheduled. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
