Red was a wonderful Christian man, and a dedicated elder. He was full of fun and kind to everyone. I will miss him, but know he is in a better place, with loved ones gone on before. I don't know what goes on in the waiting place, but maybe he and Dad are swapping stories! I do know he will enjoy that "mansion over the hilltop."

What a blessing to have Red Ritter in my life. The Lord blessed the kids of Needmore by giving them so many good role models like Red, Cocky Holmes, Jiggs Sherrill and my own dad Cotton Evans. These men were all friends and patriots and indeed The Greatest Generation. Now the last one has earned his wings and we are left with so many great memories.
