Dear Mitchie, I just seen this today. I had no idea. I loved coming down to help out each week. He missed his wife so much. We'd have lunch together. Long talks about you kids. Such a devoted man to his family. He began to tell me he loved me as I did him. I'm so sorry for your loss. He's now with his beloved Becky!

Clyde and Becky were special people. I enjoyed attending many basketball games with them through the years. They like my family, loved going to the Chicken Place in Ireland Indiana. Many times preceding a basketball game. They were both so much fun to be around. I can hear they way they laughed together in my mind. I'll always have a special place in my heart for them. Unfortunately I'm going to be out of state next week and will miss the viewing. I'm certain that Clyde has been reunited with Becky for all eternity. God Bless!

Annie, Polly, & Mitchie,
So sorry to hear about your sweet dear dad. He was always so funny. We saw him and his caretaker at O'Charleys, the night we put my dad in the nursing home. It was so sweet, our dads were so glad to see each other. I know they both thought a lot of each other( and Becky too) Every Jean reunion, your dad would come up to me and say hi honey, and give me a kiss! Tuesday - December 20, 2016 - just received the news around 5:00 p.m. We are very saddened to have lost a best friend, older cousin, and Little Daddy to us. Getting to know him and your mother have provided us with many fond memories and true friendship. We miss your mom very much and speak of fond memories of her and her teaching us things the Indiana people do and we tried teaching her what Cajun cooking and other Cajun things was like. We will really miss your dad as well and had always hoped we would be able to get together again, here or there, one more time. We will continue to think of him at Christmas and his birthday as though he was still with us. We loved both of them very much. Let's not stop the chain of relationship and friendship here. Let's keep in touch.
