Obituary of Sheila D. Elkins

Bedford-Sheila D. Elkins, 60, of Bedford, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, IN. Born January 22, 1956, she was the daughter of Charles Howard Elkins and Gretna Beryl (Luther) Elkins. Sheila loved to read books, she loved her cats and watching T.V. Surviving is her niece Amber George of Bedford; Brother-in-law, John David Livingston of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon Laverne Livingston; nephew, Varian Slade George and her aunt, Beulah Jaynes. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, 22nd in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, IN. Visitation will be held at Day & Carter on Tuesday, November 22nd from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
