I just found out about Jim passing away today, I am sorry for your loss. Jim was a special person to my dad, and me, and my boys. We spent many hours out in his building looking at his artwork and all the things he had out there, and talking about everything under the sun. We shared the same interests, and love of art, Indians, hunting, and the outdoors. Jim was more talented than I can ever hope to be, he was an inspiration to me and my family, and he was just a heck of a nice guy. He will be missed.

Jim was very kind to me the night I wrecked my mother's car. Years later, I enjoyed hearing his baseball stories, like the one where he was in Giant uniform the day that the Giant's Bobby Thompson hit a homer off Ralph Branca to beat the Dodgers and win the 1951 NL pennant.

I graduated from Shawswick in 1950. Jim was one of the older students
that we looked up too. Jim was always happy and encouraging others.
Barbra is a person with a beautiful smile that made others feel blessed
to know. The Casada Family were wonderful people that I enjoyed knowing
since the 1940's.

I have know Jim since I was growing up on Mt Pleasant Rd. Enjoyed him coming in our Sears store. He was a great man and my heart goes out to his wife Barbara son Jan and daughter Jamie and grandkids. Loved hearing him talk about playing for the New York Giants. He will be missed.
