Obituary of John F Lambrecht

Bedford – John Lambrecht, 86, of Bedford, died Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. Born June 22, 1930 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Edward and Helen Dorothy Hawkins Lambrecht. He married Dorothy Earl on May 22, 1954 and she survives. He was a high school graduate, graduating with the Shawswick High School of 1948. He retired from Central Foundry in 1996 after 46 years. John was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; a son Dennis Lambrecht and his wife Sarah, of Bedford; one sister, Dorothy Marie Lambrecht Sherwood of Bryantsville, two nieces, and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2nd in the Elmwood Chapel at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Mike Courtney officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1st at Day & Carter Mortuary.
