In 1970 I had just graduated High School and worked with Kathleen at the Bedford Medical Center. Kathleen was a wonderful and kind woman that began studying the Gospel with me. Kathleen and Willard were there when I was baptized at the Southland Church of Christ and very inspirational in bringing me to the church and the truth. May God Bless the family and my prayers are there for your comfort. I will never forget the positive influence they had in my life and leading me to the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Willard was a sweet loving person. He always treated me with respect and dignity. He would always laugh and tell me "You're my favorite daughter in law". I love Willard and Kathleen Jeffries so much. Made my life full of memories with my children, Nikolas, Vanessa and Nathaniel. Now you are together with Kathleen and made perfect. Rejoice.26qRh

Karen, Diana, Calvin & Families We are all so sorry for your loss, we all loved Herschel dearly and we will miss him, but we are also glad his suffering is over. We are glad he was able to be here as long as he could. We all learned a lot from him (and Kathleen) and we have lots of memories and stories from being with them. You are fortunate that your parents lived a lot longer than ours did, Daddy was only 61 and Mom 69 when we lost them. I hope they're sitting around a table with Clifford, Mamaw and Papaw, Mom & Daddy and rejoicing at being together again. Love to all you dear cousins
