To Dolly & The Rest Of The Blackburn Family: My Mom & I just found that Jeff left us. I'm so sorry for your loss. In & out of school, Jeff created memories for me I will always remember, how funny he was in elementary school, his athletic ability in High School Basketball, the cows on his parents farm, & him & Dolly, at the Jr. Prom, when the FHS Class of 1974 graduated. We don't get pick the day & time, when we leave to join God.

Hello Jeff,
In elementary school, you were the class clown. By Jr. High, you became a serious student & played on the school basketball team all through the High School years. I admired the physical abilities & was a fan of the whole team. I was going through the Obits, looking for my wife Glennda Stotts , I was shocked when I found yours. I guess I don't read the Bedford Times Mail enough. But, I just called my Mom & she didn't know you left us either. I feel so bad for Dolly but, God makes the choice, to when we go. You created memories in my life, I will always remember.

I was so saddened and stunned when I learned of Jeff's passing. I will always remember him from high school as the fun-loving goofball from the Class of 1974 and I mean that in the best way possible! I know he will be terribly missed and my heart aches for Dolly and their family.

daughter, Karen, went home to Heaven at age 24 is that our sorrow will never

I send my most sincere condolences to the Blackburn Family. I have lost several close to me as well. The Bible has given me hope and has helped me cope and I would like to share some comforting thoughts with you. It promises that God will help us grieve (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). Another promise we are given is to see our ressurected loved ones again on a restored paradise earth. "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." (Psalms 37:9-11) When the earth is restored to its original purpose, God will ressurect those back to life. What a wonderful future God promises us! John 5:28,29) I hope and pray these scriptures will help comfort and give hope like they do to me.
