Obituary of Glen Edward Mitchell

Bedford – Glen Edward Mitchell, 76, of Bedford, died at 5:20 am on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his residence. Born June 17, 1940 in Bedford, he was the son of Glen D. “Bunk” and Esther S. (Stipp) Mitchell. He was a graduate of Fayetteville High School with the class of 1958 and Indiana State in 1966. He was employed with audio/visual recording and electronics in Terre Haute and Richmond. Survivors include his twin sister, Glenda Mitchell, of Bedford and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Edd and Ethel Stipp, Ed and Lizzie Mitchell. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 16th at the Fayetteville Community Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 15th and from 9:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday, July 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
