Obituary of Charles Hayse

OwensburgCharles Buster Hayse, 62, of Owensburg went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 6th at his residence. Born on May 19, 1942 in Louisville, KY he was the son of Charles Joseph Hayse and Jewell (Decker) Hayse. He was a retired tool and die maker from GM retiring after thirty four and a half years of service. He was a member of Bedford Jaycees, Bedford Eagles Lodge #654 and the Bedford Boat and Sportsmens Club. On April 20, 1963 he married Patricia Hatfield in Oolitic, IN and she survives. Surviving with his wife, Patricia of Bloomfield is one daughter: Trisha Gooch of Bloomington, IN; one son: David B. Hayse and his wife, Erin of Crown Point, IN; one brother: Bruce Hayse and his wife Susie of Bloomfield, IN; one sister: June Feutz and her husband, Robert of Bloomfield, IN; five grandchildren: Cabren, Brianna and Ryan Gooch; and Grace and Ava Hayse. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Michael. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 9th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Billy Ed Hostetler and Rev. Jim Olinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Owensburg Cemetery. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Wednesday, September 8th from 3:00 until 8:00 and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
