Obituary of Delmer L. Morrow

Bedford – Delmer “Del” L. Morrow, 63, of Bedford, died at 9:06 am on Monday, May 9, 2016 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born December 19, 1952 in Delta, KY, he was the son of Eulas Morrow and Chloa Del (Kidd) Morrow. He married Angela Faye Kern on February 22, 1997 and she survives. He was an entrepreneur in Bedford and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM. Survivors include his wife, Angela Faye, of Bedford; his mother, Chloa Del Morrow, of Oolitic; three daughters, Megan DelFaye Morrow, of Bedford, Kellie Del Morrow, of Somerset, KY, and Kimberly Ann Morrow, of Somerset, KY; a son, Christopher Elijah Wade Morrow and wife, Alesha, of Bedford; two grandchildren, Kelia Dakota Morrow and Christopher Xavier Morrow; two great grandchildren, Ezekiel Dakota Lee Morrow and Adrial Morrow; two brothers, Dexter Eugene Morrow, of Oolitic and Michael Kenneth Morrow, of Lawrenceburg, KY; a sister, Carolyn Ann Morrow, of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his father, Eulas; a brother, Darrell Wayne Morrow; a sister, Lucinda Kay Morrow Horne and a nephew, Josh Tedley. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, May 13th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Danny Goens and Bob Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery West where military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 12th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, May 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
