Obituary of Phyllis Thompson

Bedford –Phyllis Thompson, 92, of Bedford, died at 12:15 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at White River Lodge in Bedford. Born January 5, 1924, she was the daughter of Bernard and Lena (Stipp) Lundy. She married Clifford Lee Thompson, Jr. on December 9, 1954 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2004. She was a homemaker and attended the Davis Memorial Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include four daughters, Rena Kay Brown Jackson, Lyn Brown McPike, Lee Ann Thompson Flynn, and Penny Thompson Hutchins; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Gertrude Williamson, a son, Gary Wayne Brown and a daughter, Phyllis Jo Thompson Hanners.
