Obituary of Lorena June Harrell

Bedford – Lorena June Harrell, 86, of Bedford, died on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born February 13, 1929, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Louis and Mary (Stroud) Robbins. June married Victor J. Harrell on March 4, 1950 and he survives. She worked in retail sales and was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford. Survivors include her husband, Victor of Bedford; one son, Steve Harrell of Bedford; one daughter, Judy Umphress and husband James of Bedford; one granddaughter, Tonya Umphress of Bedford; one brother, Douglas Robbins of Nashville, TN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Loran Robbins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Alan Cloar officiating. Burial will follow in Leatherwood Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
