My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is hard to bear but please find comfort in God's word the bible that reminds us that there is going to be a resurrection. Acts 24:15 says there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, and with this hope it is possible for you to see him again. We are given more comfort from God's word at John 5:28,29 that says " Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." May God sustain you and be your strength and may all the many wonderful memories that Owen your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.

I was fortunate - when Dale & his son joined us at Reunions I got a chance to talk with both & my memory will always be of Dale's stories about ferrying & flying AC-119s. Crusty sometime? Maybe to some, but they missed his eyes when they twinkled & sometimes got a tear or two in them. He will always be remembered.

It is with great sadness that I address the passing of a good friend, a fellow AF veteran who served with distinction. He was a respected, knowledgeable, competent leader in his field. His life can serve as an example to all who knew him. May he rest in peace with God's blessing

How very sad indeed. He was a true leader. I could sit and listen to him talk technical talk about the 119 for hours. No one knew it better.
He was simply an outstanding man with qualities that will be sorrily missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss! Did you know that soon you'll be reunited with your loved again! The bible says at John 5:28,29... "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to resurrection of life... How comforting that is to be with your loved one again! www.JW.org

I am extremely sad on hearing of the death of Dale Stickles. In all my 13 years as 1st Sgt of the 71st Squadron, 1955-1968, I considered "Stick" as a Friend and the best Flight Engineer I ever saw in the Air Force. He was well liked by everyone, Enlisted Men and Officers alike. Also he could fly that C-119 as well as any pilot. My heart and sincere sympathy goes to his family. The world has lost a great guy. Rest in Peace my friend, you certainly earned it.
