Obituary of Robert Thomas Kearns

Springville Robert Thomas Kearns, 67, of 116 Maple Run Estates, Springville, IN, died Monday, October 5, 2009 at his residence. Born April 6, 1942 in Potsdam, NY, he was the son of James and Elda (Spencer) Kearns. He married Diana Beatrice Denny on June 29, 1973 and she survives. He was a retired shipping and receiving manager. Survivors include his wife, Diana, of Palm Bay, FL; two sons, Luke Kearns and wife, Jennifer of Springville and Chris Kearns of Bloomington; five step-children, Ricky Goolden of Ogdensburg, NY, Roseann Lapine and husband, Tom of Palm Bay, FL, Bonnie Roberts and husband, John of Palm Bay, FL, Robert Goolden of Ogdensburg, NY and Darrell Goolden of Coco Beach, FL; two brothers, Don Kearns of Texas and Chuck Kearns of New York; one sister, Sandy Kennedy of New York; seventeen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ed Kearns; two sisters, Margaret Kearns and Betty Fish. Funeral Information Memorial Services will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 8th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Hauersperger officiating.
