I had you for 23 years and I enjoyed being your neighbor, I really miss seeing you and Len sitting outside in your swing watching my son Sheldon play. I have so many found memories of you that I will cherish my lifetime. I will miss our long talks about silly stuff and the stories you would tell me about the times of you growing up and meeting your first husband and then meeting Len. and how things were back then. I enjoyed those times we spent together even if it was just one of the days I helped you clean, which I enjoyed helping you very much and did not mind at all.. you helped me through some tough times and was always there to listen to me if I needed to talk. you will be greatly missed but I know you are reunited with Len and I know he was waiting with open arms for you. I truly will miss you Mrs. Goodman and every time I look at your house and that white swing I smile and think of you waving..I have always called her Mrs Goodman out of respect and I can not recall one time I called her Gertrude.. but I do know my heart aches that she is gone but I will never forget the last 23 years I had her here with me.
