Flo and I worked together in the 1970's in Bldg. 143 at Crane. She and I were two of the first female engineering technicians on the base. I guess you could say that we were pioneers. She was a gem and someone that I never forgot after we went separate ways. I had always wondered where she was and how she was but didn't know how to contact her until Carl passed away. When I saw his obituary, I went to the visitation. I wasn't sure she'd remember me but she knew me immediately. After lots of hugs and my condolences, we parted again. I am so thankful that I got to see her one more time. My deepest sympathy and heartful prayers go out to all the family. She was a special lady.
