Obituary of Merle Mosier

Williams – Merle Mosier, 85, of Williams, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born June 1, 1929 in Silverville, he was the son of Lawrence and Irma (Wagner) Mosier. He married Anah Maxine Arney and she preceded him in death on November 15, 1999. He later married Mary (Coyle) Miller and she survives. He was an assembly worker at NWSC Crane. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Williams; four step-children; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Maxine; six brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 23rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with John Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery with military rites accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
