Obituary of Oreda Keith

Bedford – Oreda Keith, 88, of Bedford, went to be with Jesus at 11:40 am on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at her residence. Born December 25, 1926 in Wayne Co., KY, she was the daughter of Mitt and Frona (Correll) Keith. She married Ira Keith on May 21, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2008. She was a homemaker, a cake decorator at Pfeffer’s Bakery in Bedford and a care giver. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Springville. Survivors include children, Delorise Bunch and husband, William, of Williams, Dewon Poole and husband, Ralph “Frog” of Orleans, Dwight Keith and wife, Becky, of Fayetteville and Susan George of Bedford; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters, Addie Morrow, Lura Denney, Milda Keith and Ollie Branscum; four brothers, Hobert, Starlin, Clifford and Hulen Keith; a son-in-law, Steve George. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Roscoe Godsey officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
