Obituary of Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia Ann Jones November 4, 1934– January 23, 2015 Bedford – Patricia Ann Jones, 80, died Friday evening at IU Health Bedford Hospital. Born November 4, 1934 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Benjamin Roberts and Belva (Henderson) Roberts. She married Doyle F. (Little Boy) Jones on May 6, 1954 and he preceded her in death on July 19, 2011. She was a Kindergarten Aide for 22 years at Needmore Elementary School. She was a member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Younger and her husband Joey, of Williams; one son, David Jones and his wife Paige, of Bedford; four grandchildren, Misty Deckard and her husband Curt, Jessica Bailey and her husband Nathan, Aaron Jones and his wife Hannah, and Brandon Jones; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Hailey Deckard, Noah and Jonah Bailey; one sister, Carolyn Sue Tolbert, of Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 27th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
