I was so sad to hear of Beckys passing. Moving away from Bedford several years ago you just lose touch with special people and Becky was so special . My sister is dying of pancreatic cancer and I have been so focused on her that I have dropped the ball on others. I pray for her family and this loss to all her friends and everyone she touched. Dear Jack:
Although we have never met, your sister Lana and I went steady in high school. I remember her speaking of you from time to time.
I am truly sorry for your loss. It's one thing to lose parents, but I can't begin to know what you are going through at this time. All I can say is that God takes care of business and the grieving. And I trust in His promises that you and Rebecca can (will) be together again.
I pray that happiness and memories of Rebecca will carry you past this hard time. I pray that your love and memories of her will give you great happiness in good times and help carry you through the times that are hard.

I'm glad that I had a chance to become acquainted with Becky. She was a very beautiful and kind lady. It always struck me that she made all people feel like they were her friend. Such a rare quality. In high school, Becky was someone that I could and did turn to for assistance and help. For you see, I saw Becky as a sister. I did encounter confrontation issues with some of her boyfriends who did not understand our relationship.
After high school, I was privileged to watch Becky grow to become a loving spouse and a great mother. She set the bar of excellence for all of us. She never lost her enthusiasm and love for others.
Although I will miss not seeing her at our class reunions and other occasions, I have my memories of her and what she meant to me.

Becky was always a close friend of mine and my family. It began when my parents lived on Q Street and the Corps lived on S Street. Our families would get together for many activities. I was always impressed with Becky’s athletic skills and energy. As a preschooler, she would perform on their Gym equipment. She did flips over the bars which were 8 feet above the ground. She seemed never to be tired and was always a spark plug of activity.
I remember our first day at Stalker Elementary School. Our mothers were taking pictures as we prepared to go to school. While I may have had some reservations about this new venture, Becky couldn’t wait to go. When Becky became the cheerleader for the school, our mothers, my sister, Larry, and I went to see her perform at every event. We spent a lot of time in the car driving to these sport activities, but we all enjoyed Becky’s performances.

I was so lucky to have an "extra mom" growing up with Amy. So many of my memories include Becky. I remember hair cuts, colors, and perms, prom breakfasts, decorating tips, showers, and so much more. As I grew up she always remembered what I was doing, my family, and always had time to catch up and take interest in what was happening to me. I know it wasn't just me, that was the type of person Becky was.. a kind heart and truly cared about others. She could do ANYTHING. Her energy she gave to all her ventures made each one a success!
