Obituary of Roberta Thompson

Bedford – Roberta Thompson, 76, of 262 Dark Hollow Road, Bedford, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at her residence. Born August 23, 1938 in Jackson Co., she was the daughter of Gorden R. and Delphia I. (Fleetwood) Henderson. She married Perry Thompson, Sr. on March 22, 1963 and he preceded her in death on July8, 1994. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Perry L. Thompson, Jr. of Bedford; a daughter, Brenda K. Ikerd of Bedford; two brothers, Larry W. and Robert D. Henderson both of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 14th at Patton Hill Cemetery with John Lee officiating. There are no calling hours.
