Obituary of Marianna Hassler

Bedford Marianna Hassler, 78 of Bedford, died at 5:00 am, Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at her residence. Born on February 2, 1926 in Evansville, IN she was the daughter of Edward and Helen (Titzer) Laine. She married Stephen Bud Hassler on June 12, 1948. She was a homemaker and was a self-employed tax preparer. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Mitchell, IN. Surviving are the husband of Bedford, six children, Dennis Hassler and his wife Kathy of Terre Haute, Julie Smith of Bloomington, Don Hassler and his wife, Melissa of Bedford, Chris Hassler of Shoals, Susan Taylor and her husband Michael of Bedford, Tim Hassler of Bedford, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two brothers, Jack and Bob Laine, one sister, Ruth Spahn all of Evansville. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son in infancy and three grandchildren in infancy Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Saturday at St. Marys Catholic Church of Mitchell, IN with Father Bernie Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the Day & Carter Mortuary from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 10, 2004. A Rosary service will be conducted at 7:00 pm, Friday evening at the mortuary. Donations Information The family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital
