Obituary of Vivian V. Harrison

Bedford Vivian V. Harrison, 83, of 1108 O Street, Bedford, died at 7:00 am on Friday, February 25, 2005 at her residence. Born October 27, 1921 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Dee and Stella (Brown) Goen. She married William Harrison on May 26, 1938 and he died in 1978. She was a homemaker and a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Marie Harrison and Carolyn Broughton and her husband, Frankie, all of Bedford and Patty Moore and her husband, Keith of Martinsville; two sons, William (Bill) and his wife, Diane; Freddie Harrison and his wife, Carolena, all of Bedford; one sister, Mildred Fry of Bedford; twelve grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Betty White Wade; one son, Larry E. Harrison and two sisters: Charlotte Lewis and Violet Sargent; one half-sister: Zora Kimbrel and two brothers: Rusaw Goen and Pete Jones Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 28th at Beech Grove Cemetery with Pastor David Ferry officiating. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
