Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Jones

Mary Elizabeth Jones Mary Elizabeth Jones, 89, of Bedford and formerly of Springville passed away at 6:55 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born on November 27, 1917 in Bedford, IN she was the daughter of Albert A. Medaugh and Minnie (King) Medaugh. She was a housewife, member of the Free Methodist Church, American Association of Retired Persons, Womens Missionary Society and the Bedford Medical Center Auxiliary and a graduate from Bedford High School in 1935. She married Walden C. Jones on November 27, 1935 and he died on July 2, 1977. Surviving are two daughters: Karen May and her husband, Denny of Bedford and Barbara Brand of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren: Maria Ikerd and her husband, Dale of Bedford and Melissa Eads and her husband, Bobby of Springville; six great grandchildren: Lee Ikerd and his wife, Jessica of Bedford, Heather Bates and her husband, Reno of Bedford, Nick Eads and his wife, Amber of Springville, Ashley Ratkovich and her husband, Scott of Mitchell and Corey Ikerd and his wife, Kayla of Bedford and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two grandchildren: David Alan May and Danny Lee May. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 16th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Colgan officiating.
