Obituary of Alan Harrell

Bedford Alan Harrell, 56, of 3266 S. Leatherwood Road, Bedford, died Thursday, January 12, 2006 at his residence. Born March 29, 1949, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Robert and Marcella (Armstrong) Harrell. He married Penny Beaver on September 11, 1972 and she survives. He retired from Raytheon in California and was a veteran U.S. Navy. Surviving with his wife, Penny, are three daughters, Jessica Hunter and her husband, Richard of Heltonville, Jennifer Harrell of Bedford and Julie Dillman and her husband, John of Williams; four grandchildren, Gage Perkins and Taylor Hunter both of Heltonville, Colton Caraway and Alexis Dillon both of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Bobby Harrell, Jr. Funeral Information Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
