Obituary of Mary F. Ashcraft

Bedford Mary E. Ashcraft, 81, of 2861 Hillside Dr., Bedford, died at 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born March 28, 1924 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Ogle and Julie (Babb) Jackson. She married Walter L. Ashcraft in May 1941 and he died on September 22, 2000. She was retired from NWSC CRANE. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Rayle and Linda Gregory both of Bedford; two sons, Roger Ashcraft of Georgia and Larry Ashcraft of New York; five granddaughters and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Ronald Ashcraft and several brothers. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 9th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Mausoleum. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 8th and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
