Obituary of Vestal Hardwick

Bedford Vestal Butch Hardwick, 63, of 672 Old State Road 37 N., Bedford, died at 8:55 am on Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born September 3, 1943 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Manuel and Kathleen (King) Hardwick. He married Sharon Goodman on September 22, 1961 and she survives. He had worked at RCA and G.E. in Bloomington and Carpenter Body Works in Mitchell. He was an avid sports fan and NASCAR enthusiast. He was of the protestant faith. He was dearly loved by all his family and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Bedford; two sons, Kevin Hardwick and his wife, Joyce of Springville, Troy Hardwick and his wife, Jill of Terre Haute; one granddaughter, Amber Hardwick of Terre Haute; two step-grandchildren, Kendra Wilkins and her husband, Jan of Springville and Kyle Sneed and his fiance, April Scott of Mitchell; four step great grandchildren, Michael Wilkins, Rachel Wilkins, Danielle Wilkins all of Springville, Karl Sneed of Mitchell; one brother, Dencil Hardwick and his wife, Janice of Danville, IN; one sister, Carolyn Muir and her husband, Sidney of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Estel (in infancy) and Wilford Hardwick. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Lewis Williams and Rev.
