Obituary of Edna Hancock

Bedford Edna Hancock, 81, of Bedford, died at 12:25 pm on Monday, June 9, 2008 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born February 7, 1927 in New Hampshire, she was the daughter of Grover and Bessie (Ritchardson) Dicey. She married John Albert Hancock on March 29, 1958 and he preceded her in death on March 27, 1999. She was a homemaker. Survivors include four daughters, Florence (Flo) Todd and her husband, Jerry L., Donna Johnson and Heidi Cobb all of Bedford and Iris Mulder of South Dakota; one son, Paul Hancock of Jasonville, IN; three grandchildren, Betty Wagner of Indianapolis, Edward Wagner and his wife, Amanda and Cassidy Cobb all of Bedford; two great grandchildren, Darian Nelson and Dakkota Parkinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Sonja Hancock; one brother, David Dicey and one sister, Elizabeth Kozityeck. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 12th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Bass Cemetery in Lawrence County. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, June 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
