Obituary of Robert Eugene Hall

Mitchell Robert Eugene Hall, 85, of 613 N. 14th Street, Mitchell, went to be with the Lord at 7:38 pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at his residence. Born July 11, 1921 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of John and Blanche (Enochs) Hall. He married Sara E. Earl in 1950 and she survives. He was a retired inspector for General Motors and a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mitchell where he served as Chairman of the Trustees for eighteen years. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #440, Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM, the York Rites of Bedford and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. Surviving with his wife, Sara, is one daughter, Susan Kay Wagner and her husband, Everett of Bedford; two grandchildren, Becky Sue Condra and her husband, Brad of Paoli and Leslie Aaron Wagner of Lincoln, IL; two great grandchildren, Emily Sue Condra and Nicole Ann Condra; two brothers, Vertis and Delmont Hall; one sister, Loretta Arnold. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Rebecca Ann Pittman and one brother, Lloyd Hall. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, June 8th at the Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell with Rev. William Graham officiating. Burial will follow. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of the Mitchell American Legion Cecil Martin Post. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. A Masonic service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday by members of the Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM.
