Obituary of Robert Wayne Hall

Bedford-Robert Wayne Hall, 68, of Bedford died at 1:52 P.M. on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born January 24, 1940 he was the son of Robert T. and Dorothy Jane (Godsey) Hall. He married June Deckard in 1968 and she survives. Robert served with the U.S. Air force and was stationed in Germany for three years. He retired from Otis Elevator. He owned Guthrie Bobs bait shop, and enjoyed working there. He was an IUE union member He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching trains with his son. Survivors include his wife June of Bedford; one son Jeff Hall of Bedford and his fiance to be Amy Eads of Bedford; two sisters Phyllis Abel and her husband Darrell of Bedford, and Barbara Abel and her husband Max of Bedford; five nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one niece. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Farrell Sowder and Max Abel officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowder Cemetery in Springville. Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 30th at the mortuary.
