Obituary of Nathan Hackney

Bedford Nathan Hackney, 23, of 1915 14th Street, Bedford, died Monday, November 17, 2008 in Bloomington, IN. Born February 9, 1985 in Bedford, he was the son of Noble and Harriett (Johnson) Hackney. He enjoyed being with his family, his son, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his father, Noble Hackney of Bedford; his son, Reice Andrew Hackney and his sons mother, Candice Thorp both of Bedford; two brothers, Kyle Sheffield Hackney of Bedford and Tim Brent Armstrong of Louisville; one sister, Autumn Busch of Louisville; aunts and uncles, Tonia and Larry Hitchcox of Needmore and Sue and Bernie Ellis of Paoli; grandfather, Marvin Ned Hackney of Bedford; cousins, Krissy and Marcy Hitchcox of Needmore, Matt Ellis, Dean Ellis and Sammy Ellis all of Paoli; niece, Zoe Hackney; nephews, Logan Hackney, Aiden Armstrong and Kaidin Hackney. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriett; and his grandmother, Margie Beedie. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Friday, November 21st at the Beech Grove Cemetery in Bedford. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, November 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
