Obituary of Ada Lorene Griffin

Bedford Ada Lorene (Jackie) Griffin, 93, of Bedford, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born May 29, 1918 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clarence Jackson and Bessie King Covington. She married George Griffin and he preceded her in death. She was a beautician and a member of the Faith Mission Church and American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include two brothers, Charles Jackson of Flora, TN and Kenneth Jackson and wife, Peggy, of Leighton, AL; two sisters, Dorval Tincher and Viola Medlock and husband, John all of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday, May 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
