Obituary of Virginia M. Hayes

Bedford Virginia M. Hayes, 86, of Bedford, died at 4:15 am on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Mitchell Manor in Mitchell. Born August 13, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of William and Stella (Lynch) Mitchell. She married Paul Fitz on February 2, 1942 and he died in March of 1971. She later married Jim Hayes and he also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Anne Martinez and husband, David of Bedford, Mary Minshall of Maryland; three grandchildren, Heather Flores, David and Tony Martinez; five great grandchildren, Blake, Kennedy, Camryn, Zoey and Camdyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and a son, William Fitz. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 4th at the Mundell Christian Church with John Wisely officiating. Burial will follow in the Mundell Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, April 4th at the Mundell Christian Church.
