Obituary of Paula M. Godsey
Williams Paula M. Godsey, 30, of 423 N. Sandstone Road, Williams, IN, died suddenly Thursday, January 23, 2003 at her residence.
Paula was a loving and caring Wife, Daughter, Mother, Granddaughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She never knew a stranger or never forgot anyone. If she met you once it was like she knew you forever. She had a beautiful smile and a big heart. Everyone that knew her loved her. She was always there if you needed her no matter how large or small the need. Paula was employed in the jewelry department at Wal-mart. She loved her role in the Little League and Biddy Basketball programs in Fayetteville where everyone loved her.
Paula was born in Bedford to Paul V. King and Teresa (Andis) Turner on the 26th day of July 1972. She married Darren L. Godsey on November 5, 1994.
She blessed us by giving us three beautiful children; two daughters: Lynnsie and Danae Godsey and one son: Terry Dean Godsey. She left behind along with her husband and children; her father and stepmother: Paul and Sharon King of Bedford; her mother and stepfather: Teresa and Rick Turner and one sister: Jodi Sims and her husband, Cory all of Williams; her mother and father-in-law: Paul and Norma Ferrell of Springville; one brother in law: Mark Godsey and his wife, Vicki; one-sister-in law: Tracy Holtsclaw and her husband, Scott. She was loved and adored by her four nieces: Kyla Sims, Kennedy and Courtney Holtsclaw and Sammatha Godsey and one nephew: Braden Sims. Her grandmothers: Bertha Andis of Springville and Juanita Turner of Bedford; several aunts, and uncles and cousins. Her dog Roscoe, who tried to save her, will miss her greatly.
She has joined in heaven her grandfathers: Curtis Andis and Maynard Turner and her Grandparents: Louis and Ruth King. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 27th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Rick Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Bro. Bob Phillips. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
