Obituary of Dana B. Gilstrap

Springville Dana B. Gilstrap, 26, of 2796 Springville-Judah Road, Springville, died at 12:45 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at University Hospital in Indianapolis. Born July 8, 1979 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Jeffrey and Sandy (Phillips) Cain. She married Corey Gilstrap on January 5, 2002 and he survives. She was a dental assistant in Evansville and attended the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church in Springville. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed fishing and golfing. Surviving with her husband, Corey, is her father and step-mother, Jeffrey and Jackie Cain of Springville; her mother, Sandy Phillips of Springville; two sisters, Stephanie Risen and her husband, Jeff of Greenville, SC and her twin sister, Joni Cain-Walker and her husband, Delaney of Springville; Coreys parents, Curt and Susie Gilstrap of Orleans; Coreys brother, Cain Gilstrap and his wife, Kelly of Orleans; Coreys grandparents, Leroy and Eleanor Taylor of Mitchell; her paternal grandmother, Marie Latimer of Bloomington; three nephews, Cameron, Clay and Caden Risen all of Greenville, SC. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, William Henry Cain, her maternal grandmother, Carrie (Phillips) Gregory, her paternal step-grandfather, Raymond (Red) Latimer, and her maternal step-grandfather, James Gregory. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 13th at the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church in Springville with Bro. Alan Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 11th and from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, August 13th at the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.
