Obituary of Michael Jayson Giles

Paoli Michael Jayson Giles, 56, of Paoli, formerly of Martinsville and Franklin, IN, passed of natural causes on Monday, January 25, 2010 at his residence. Born November 14, 1953 in Martinsville, he was the son of Donald E. Giles and Mary K. (Shaw) Dennis. He was a mechanic and a life-time motorcycle racing competitor and enthusiast. He was of the Methodist faith and avid gun collector and member of the N.R.A. Mike will be remembered as a true and loyal friend, a loving uncle and protective son and brother. Survivors include his mother, Mary Dennis of Beech Grove, IN; three sisters, Jennifer Manzenberger of Bedford, Conni Law of Columbus, MS and Sherri Lynn Giles of Martinsville; three nephews; four nieces; one great nephew; his extended family, the Thurbers and Brad Jones families. He was preceded in death by his father, two nephews, Thomas George and Christopher Saeger, his paternal and maternal grandparents. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 29th at the Mundell Cemetery with Kasey Law officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to 2:15 pm on Friday, January 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
