Obituary of Loretta Garriott

Bedford Loretta Sis Garriott, 71, of 331 Lower Leesville Road, Bedford, died at 3:50 pm on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. Born February 25, 1940 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Luther and Ruby (Flinn) Brown. She was a waitress at Rustic Inn, the Elks Lodge and a home health worker. She was a member of the Leesville United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Greg Garriott of Bedford, Kevin Garriott and wife, Becky of Leesville; four grandchildren, Jason Garriott and Keisha of Ft. Ritner, Haley Garriott and Zach of Orleans, Ashley Garriott and Bailey Garriott both of Orleans; Step-Grandchildren, Bradley Harper and wife, Carri Harper, Stephanie Harper and Jeffrey Sebree and Kelsey all of Bedford; six great grandchildren, Mason, Bryson, Austin, Allie, Noah and Jaxen; four brothers, Donnie Brown and wife, Delpha, Danny Brown, Jerry Brown and wife, Kathy, Terry Brown and wife, Janice all of Bedford; two sisters, Oleta McCart of Bedford and Connie Scott and husband, Joe of Heltonville; an aunt, Mildred Brown; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Frank Brown. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, June 13th at the Pinhook Cemetery with Alan Dalton officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
