Obituary of Mary Frances Acton
ACTON, MARY FRANCES, resident of Bedford, Indiana, died August 7, 2008, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Acton. Loving mother of Tracy Eugene (Nancy) Little and the late Stephen Cecil Little. Cherished grandmother of Peggy Diane Little (Steve) Sarafa of Dublin, Ohio; Jennifer Anne Little (Bruce)Worthen of Carmel, Indiana; Karen Suzanne Little (Matt) Liebentritt of Broomfield, Colorado; Kimberly Renee Little (Brad) Lackey of Dallas, Texas; the late Tracy Eugene (Chris) Little, Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Jason Little, New York, New York. Great Grandmother of Daniel James Sarafa, Andrew William Sarafa, Ryan Christopher Worthen, Jillyn Annette Worthen, Bruce David (Trey) Worthen III, Cole Matthew Liebentritt, Blake Tracy Liebentritt, Drew Aaron Liebentritt, Marina Sara Lackey, and Ambrielle Renee Lackey. Dear sister of Betty Dorsett Hoover of Live Oak Florida, Phyllis Dorsett Westerfield of Bedford, Indiana and Kenneth Wayne (Francie) Dorsett of Indianapolis, Indiana and many loving nieces and nephews. Mary Frances was born on January 19, 1924 in Bedford, Indiana and she was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Dorsett and Dora Clampitt Dorsett of Bedford, Indiana and her sister, Virginia Dorsett Fish of Bedford, Indiana. She attended Bedford High School and worked for Central Foundry, RCA, Greystone Hotel, Arthur Murray Dance Studio and was self employed for Mary Frances Little Ballroom Dance Studio in Bedford, Indiana. She and her late husband, Thomas, resided in Bonita Springs, Florida for twenty-seven years but continued to spend their summers in Bedford, Indiana. Mary was a member of the First Christian Church of Bedford, Indiana. Mary and her friends and family will always remember her love of dancing, music, dominos, card playing, good fun and her profound sense of loving people as well as her hometown of Bedford, Indiana. An 11:00 a.m. memorial service will be held Thursday, August 14 at Day and Carter Mortuary, 1133 Lincoln Avenue (12th Street), Bedford, Indiana. Friends may visit with her family at Day and Carter from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on August 14, 2008. A burial service will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery. Donations Information
