Obituary of Charles W. Baker
Springville Charles W. Baker, Sr., 57, of 191 Graves Addition, Springville, died at 1:15 am on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born February 24, 1952 in Bedford, he was the son of Charles K. Baker and Twila Naylor. He was a truck driver, welder and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include one son, Charles William (B.J.) Baker of Bedford; his mother and step-father, Twila and Harold White of Oolitic; his ex-wife and companion, Linda Baker of Avoca; a sister, Debbie Prince and husband, Wayne of Heltonville; a step-sister, Gara Kenworthy of Terre Haute; a brother, Ed Mosier and wife, Tanna of Bedford; two step-brothers, Edward White of Williams and Mike Mosier of Judah; two granddaughters, Tya Baker of Bedford and Nichole L. Terrell of Mitchell; a sister-in-law, Becky Mosier; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Dawn Baker; a brother, Tony Lee Roy Mosier; a half-brother, Les Baker; his father, Charles K. Baker; his grandmother, Ruth H. Mosier; step-grandparents, Mary and Paul White and an uncle, Azariah Mosier. Funeral Information
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 17th at the Dive Christian Church with Phil McDonald and Cody Mosier officiating. Burial will follow in the Dive Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Thursday, December 17th at the Dive Christian Church.
