Obituary of Geneva L. Flinn

Bedford Geneva L. Flinn, 92, a resident of the Hospitality House in Bloomington since January 24, 2000, formerly of 2741 Eastern Ave., Bedford, died at 5:50 am on Monday, February 21, 2005 at her residence. Born August 8, 1912 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Fred and Ortance (Kern) Cole. She married Arthur Flinn on December 23, 1934 and he preceded her in death on November 1, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Church of Christ in Bedford. Surviving are one daughter, Judy Caswell and her husband, Jerry of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, Trent; two brothers, Fred and Wilbur Cole; four sisters, Pauline Speer, Naomi Bolton, Lois Bartley and Roberta Canada. She was the last of her family. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 24th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
