Obituary of Emma Imogene Fish

Bedford Emma Imogene Fish, 78, of Bedford, died at 11:34 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at her residence. Born May 8, 1931 in Martin Co., she was the daughter of Oda and Lena (Inman) Baker. She married Robert Joe Fish on July 28, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1998. She retired from the retail clerks union and had worked in various retail and grocery businesses. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church and was the treasurer for the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Assoc. She was a fifty year member of the Thursday Night Euchre Club. Survivors include two sons, Rennie Fish and wife, LeAnn, Robert Bob Fish and wife, Mary all of Bedford; one daughter, Janie Westerfield and husband, Mark of Bedford; six grandchildren, Brent Reynolds of Bedford, Jesse Reynolds and wife, Kathalijn of Oakland, CA, Amanda Wagner and husband, Ed of Bedford, Sarah Fish of Carmel, Lindsey Wright and husband, Ryan of Bedford, Lauren Phillips of Bedford; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Hudson of Plainfield, IN, Bonnie Dalton of Brazil, IN and Margie Hodges of Franklin, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Jason Fish; one brother, Gene Baker; two sisters, Shirley Hill and Alice Baker. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17th at the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church with Jeff Huddelson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Christian Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, October 17th at the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church. Donations Information The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association, Mt.
