Obituary of Judy A. Johnson

Bedford Judy A. Johnson, 59, of Bedford, died at 4:08 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford. Born September 8, 1951 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Marvin E. Griffin and Betty Rose Allen Griffin. She married Donald Earl Johnson, Jr. on May 23, 1971 and he survives. She was a graduate of Bedford High School with the class of 1968 and attended Vincennes University. She was employed as a nurse at Stonebridge Health Campus. Survivors include her father, Marvin E. Griffin and step-mother, Sue of Bedford; her husband, Don of Bedford; two daughters, Colleen F. Rainey and husband, Dennis E. of Mitchell, Aimee Marie Todd and husband, Kelly of Bedford; four grandchildren, Donald Andrew Todd, Shelby Ann McPike, Natalie Nichole Todd and Shayla LeFaye Rainey; three sisters, Leesa Faye Craig and husband, Ron of Springville, Ellen Jenkins and husband, Hubert of Bedford, Jay Holt and husband, Russell of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, August 5th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Tim Sumpter officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 4th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, August 5th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
