Obituary of Angie Dawn Elkins

Bloomington, Angie Elkins, 29, of 3214 Acadia Court in Bloomington, died at 3:25 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born on April 14, 1974 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Jake Elkins and Pamela (Martin) Bing. She was a graduate of BNL in Bedford and was a CNA at the Hospitality House in Bloomington. She was a member of the Apostolic Bible Church in Bloomington. Surviving are her mother: Pamela Bing and step-father Donnie of Bloomington; father: Jake Elkins and step-mother Faye of Bedford; maternal grandmother: Betty Martin of Bedford; one brother: Jayden Elkins of Bedford; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Jefferson and Oneda Elkins and maternal grandfather: Gathis Martin. Funeral Information Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26th, from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Beecham officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25th, and noon until service time on Saturday, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
